How Can I Help?
You can help Project Peru by Donating or Volunteering.

Donations
In order for Project Peru to deliver on its goals, a critical component is contributions driven by individuals. Project Peru accepts donations online through NetworkforGood.org and JustGive.org where your contribution goes directly to Project Peru (please note that these organizations are charities themselves, but do take 3% of the donation for processing credit card costs. Please see each groups website for more details).

FAQs about Donations to Project Peru

  • Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Project Peru is a registered 501(c)(3) charity with the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Where do my donations go?
Donations to Project Peru go directly toward our programs. Please see What We Do. No one at Project Peru is paid a salary or receives any compensation.
  • I'm concerned about political and financial crisis in Peru, are my donations secure?
Project Peru is both a U.S. and Peruvian charity organization; however, the largest majority of our contributions are kept in a U.S. bank, only moving dollars into Peru when necessary for the completion of projects. In Peru, our bank is one of the strongest in the country and is Spanish-owned with a 150-year history. In addition, Project Peru - while working with municipalities and other entities in Peru - takes critical steps to completely manage all financial aspects of each project.
  • As a company I am interested in your cause, do you have donation options for businesses?
Yes. Companies interested in donations, grants or sponsorship opportunities with Project Peru should contact Stephen Drake at sdrake@projectperu.org. Please join our other Corporate Sponsors in making a difference with Project Peru!
  • Can I write a check for a donation?
Yes. Project Peru will accept donations via check or money order, payable to Project Peru, Inc. You can mail your donation to:
    Project Peru, Inc.
22 Lookout Avenue, Natick, Massachusetts 01760
  • How do I utilize my companies matching gift program?
An important part of Project Peru's contribution network has been through the generosity of many companies. Many companies offer a matching gift program that typically matches donations (up to a certain dollar limit) made by their employees to charitable organizations. If you are making a donation, please check with your Human Resources department to see if your company offers matching gifts. Usually, filling out a short form is all that is required.
  • What if I have further questions about donations?
If you have any other questions about donations, please contact Stephen Drake at sdrake@projectperu.org

Volunteers
Project Peru was founded on a dream to help children - children who have so little. All of us at Project Peru are driven because of the promise to provide opportunities to children, their families and their communities in need in Peru. Through a number of our programs focused on healthcare and education, Project Peru seeks to empower and uplift those in need in Peru and assist in providing new opportunities. A smiling child with new hope and promise is our greatest reward. Won't you join us?

Project Peru is always seeking volunteers on various projects throughout the year. If you are interested please contact us at volunteers@projectperu.org.
