PROJECT PERÚ MEMBER GENEROSITY SHINES IN 2003
New Events and Initiatives Seek to Build on the Success of Past Donations

(NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS)—JANUARY 1, 2004--Project Perú, Inc., a non-profit aid organization focused on the welfare of Peruvian children, is pleased to announce the continued generosity of its donors in 2003. Through the year, Project Perú raised more than $7,000 for Peruvian children and their families. Project Perú hopes to build on the success of 2003 with new initiatives and fund raising events in 2004.

During 2003, Project Perú donors showed their commitment to welfare of Peru’s children by contributing to the group’s fall fund drive and raffle and its golf tournament in the summer. Proceeds from these events will enable Project Perú to continue its highly successful scholarship program, to deliver medical supplies to the city of Ate Vitarte, and to investigate the needs of Perúvian children in communities outside of Ate.

In 2004, Project Perú will host its 3rd Annual golf tournament in conjunction with IDC and also boost its fund raising efforts and awareness with a Perúvian festival in October that will feature live Incan music, dancing and Perúvian food and drink. Project Perú members will learn further details regarding the celebration as the date approaches. Those interested in making in-kind contributions to the event can call Steven Drake at (508) 333-3300 or email sdrake@projectperu.org.
