Project Peru and IDC Team Up for Successful Fundraiser
Organization raises almost $6,000 with Silent Auction

Natick, MA, May 30, 2001 – Project Perú, Inc., a non-profit aid organization focused on the welfare of Peruvian children, teamed up with IDC, the world’s leading provider of technology intelligence, for a successful fundraiser.

IDC’s Event and Charity Committee sponsored the silent auction of over 70 items for IDC employees to bid on. Approximately $3,000 was raised through the auction and IDC matched almost 90% of the bids, bringing the total amount raised to $5,742. Project Peru was also able to provide information on its projects and awareness of the many community needs in Peru to IDC employees, providing a fun, informational and uplifting event.
